A number of training units are provided in an innovative training system that can be used by non-skilled coating applicators including: health and safety, surface preparation, coating types and coating application.

The training and assessment is a mandatory requirement for Surface Coating Operatives working on NHSS 8 contracts and for operatives registered to the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) with Main01 Painting of Structures

  2. This 2 day course is suitable for: Fettlers, Brush Painters and Spray Painters 
  3. Training and assessment has both practical and theoretical elements
  4. This training provides the required level of underpinning knowledge to meet the Highway Electrical Apprenticeship and NVQ Qualifications
  5. Delivery of the course is undertaken by qualified SSPC Trainthepainter trainers
